Carín León Tops 2026 Premios Juventud Noms, PJ Fest Details Unveiled

Mexican singer-songwriter Carín León leads the nominations for the 2026 Premios Juventud with nine nods, ahead of the first-ever live broadcast of the show from Marbella, Spain, on September 3. Following him are Beéle, Kany García, and Rauw Alejandro with seven nominations each, while artists such as Eladio Carrión, Farruko, Karol G, and Shakira received six. TelevisaUnivision revealed the full list of nominees and further details about PJ Fest, a new weeklong cultural event centered around Premios Juventud.

This year, the awards expanded their categories by introducing "Creator de España" to highlight Spanish digital creators and strengthen cultural ties between Spain and Latin America. Fans can vote until August 10 across 50 categories, covering music, television, streaming, and digital content, with winners determined entirely by public votes on PremiosJuventud.com. The nominees' full list is accessible through Univision’s official site.

A significant transformation for 2026 is the integration of Premios Juventud into PJ Fest, a six-day festival across four cities: Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, and Marbella. The festival includes concerts featuring artists like Jay Wheeler and Piso 21, cultural activations, and exclusive sessions streamed via ViX, YouTube, and Facebook. The festival culminates with the live awards ceremony in Marbella on September 3.

Premios Juventud continued its international growth after breaking records during its 2025 edition in Panama City, which saw a 58% increase in engagement and over 450 million interactions across platforms. This expansion aligns with trends seen in other Latin music events like the Latin Grammys. The upcoming broadcast will be available on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, ViX in the U.S., and Canal 5 in Mexico. Additional performers and hosts for the Marbella event will be announced soon.
