Conversely, American companies such as Tesla and NVIDIA might also face repercussions should China decide to restrict rare earth exports or limit market access in response.

The political and economic friction around AI and robotics continues to intensify. U.S. officials have hinted at additional sanctions linked to intellectual property theft accusations in the artificial intelligence sector.
