Starting from pole position, Norris initially lost the lead to Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli following a red-flag caused by Max Verstappen’s crash, but he regained first place midway through the race. He crossed the finish line 11.536 seconds ahead of Antonelli, with George Russell, also from Mercedes, securing third after winning the sprint race the day before.

In the drivers’ championship standings after 12 rounds, Kimi Antonelli remains the leader with a comfortable 59-point margin, holding 242 points. George Russell moved into second place with 183 points, edging Lewis Hamilton who also has 183 points but sits third. Norris’s back-to-back wins elevated him to fourth place at 159 points, narrowly ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, who is fifth with 155 points. Max Verstappen trails in sixth with 112 points despite his crash at Zandvoort.

Mercedes continues to dominate the constructors’ championship, leading with 425 points—a significant 87-point lead over second-place Ferrari, which has 338 points. McLaren holds third place with 263 points, while Red Bull and Racing Bulls round out the top five with 186 and 66 points respectively. The constructor rankings reflect Mercedes’ consistent performance, bolstered by Antonelli and Russell, and Ferrari’s ongoing challenge led by Hamilton and Leclerc.

Other notable finishes at the Dutch Grand Prix included Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc finishing fourth and fifth, Oscar Piastri coming sixth for McLaren, and Liam Lawson scoring Red Bull’s sole points in seventh. Nico Hulkenberg earned eight points for Audi, finishing eighth, while Fernando Alonso added two points for Aston Martin in ninth. Pierre Gasly secured the final point in tenth for Alpine. The season now moves toward the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, scheduled for September 4-6.
