Beyoncé's Award-Winning Haircare Brand Cécred Is Expanding To The UK

Beyoncé’s haircare brand Cécred, which is known for its science-driven formulations and inclusivity for all hair types, is making its first international retail expansion by launching in the United Kingdom. Officially debuting on September 22, 2026, Cécred products will be available in 90 physical Space NK stores as well as online on the retailer’s website. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand, which was launched in 2024 after six years of extensive research and development led by Beyoncé, her mother Tina Knowles, and CEO Grace Ray.

Cécred stands out in the beauty industry by emphasizing hair health at the root rather than merely offering cosmetic improvements. The brand’s product lineup includes items like Clarifying Shampoo and Scalp Scrub, Moisturizing Deep Conditioner, Nourishing Hair Oil, and patented Bioactive Keratin Ferment treatments, with pricing typically ranging from $38 to $52. Cécred ships products directly to consumers and is also a top seller in prestige haircare at Ulta Beauty, where its Restoring Hair and Edge Drops products have performed exceptionally well amid a haircare market that constitutes 20% of Ulta’s Q2 net sales.

A key to Cécred’s success has been Beyoncé’s commitment to self-funding the brand from the outset, allowing the team to invest heavily in product research, development, and testing without external restrictions. This strategy included establishing a dedicated research lab and a test salon in Los Angeles, enabling rigorous product innovation. CEO Grace Ray highlighted the challenges and excitement of scaling up operations to massive retail demand, which required developing new operational capabilities from supply chain to in-store marketing, helping Cécred achieve what Ray described as “exceptional” revenue growth.

Beyoncé has personally expressed pride in bringing Cécred to the UK market, reflecting on the country’s diverse hair types and cultural styles she encountered throughout her performances there. Tina Knowles also shared the vision of making Cécred a globally accessible household name. This expansion not only broadens the brand’s geographical reach but reinforces its founding ethos of inclusivity and quality-driven haircare that empowers people to embrace their natural hair texture with confidence.
