Just Women’s Sports (JWS) announced the launch of its inaugural mobile app on October 13, 2026, providing a centralized hub for fans to access live scores, schedules, statistics, personalized notifications, and original content across women’s sports. Founded by Haley Rosen, JWS has transformed from a media brand focused on social platforms into a comprehensive digital destination designed to enhance how fans engage with women’s sports. With an estimated 40 million women’s sports fans in the U.S., and the company already reaching over 115 million people monthly, the app aims to simplify fan experience by consolidating key information and deep statistical insights that have traditionally been fragmented.
Founder and CEO Haley Rosen highlighted a significant “utility gap” in the digital infrastructure surrounding women’s sports. While interest in women’s sports continues to escalate, fans often struggle to find centralized and detailed information easily, unlike the seamless digital experiences available with men’s sports leagues. The app incorporates technology from Victra Sports, a women’s sports tech firm JWS recently acquired, to bring scores, schedules, deeper stats—including WNBA Finals leaders—and original editorial all into one user-friendly platform. Rosen emphasized that making it easy and fun to follow women’s sports has been a core vision for JWS from the start.
The new app also signifies a strategic shift for JWS by fostering a direct relationship with its audience. Previously relying heavily on social platforms to reach fans, JWS now collects user engagement data directly through the app, allowing for a more personalized fan experience and offering expanded opportunities for brand partnerships with targeted advertising and sponsorships. Although the company has not disclosed in-app advertisers yet, Rosen believes the app will unlock significant commercial potential by creating a dedicated space exclusively for women’s sports content, helping fans deepen their connection beyond casual social media consumption.
In addition to the app launch, JWS unveiled two sport-specific brands—Just Women’s Hoops and Just Women’s Football—focused on basketball and women’s soccer to serve more specialized fan bases while maintaining the broader women’s sports audience. This approach reflects JWS's philosophy that women’s sports should be treated as a standalone category with its own leagues, teams, and narratives rather than a sub-brand within larger sports media. These developments augment existing partnerships with the WNBA and National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), positioning JWS for accelerated growth in women’s sports fandom and business opportunities. Rosen sees the app as a foundational tool that could fundamentally change the company’s role in the women’s sports ecosystem by making it easier for fans to follow games and stay engaged long-term.
