Marsai Martin, actress, producer, and entrepreneur, has made a significant impact through her Marsai’s Way Foundation, which has reached 10,000 underserved youth with programs focused on education, mentorship, scholarships, and leadership. The foundation honors the legacy of Martin’s late cousin, Marsai Chari Murray, who inspired Martin to empower young women to dream bigger and build meaningful legacies. The foundation currently operates with support from 36 global partners and targets key areas including scholarships, health and wellness, leadership development, and financial literacy.

Building on this success, Martin recently launched the FICO Financial Empowerment Fellowship in collaboration with FICO and Seeds of Fortune, Inc., marking the next step in her mission to provide crucial financial education. This fellowship aims to help college students enhance their financial literacy, improve their credit scores, and develop wealth-building strategies. Ten fellows will receive $1,500 scholarships and engage their communities by sharing financial knowledge and promoting healthy financial habits.

In addition to education and scholarships, fellows will be invited to the Marsai Martin Resolution Brunch, an event designed to celebrate their accomplishments and foster connections with Martin and other changemakers. Applications for the FICO Financial Empowerment Fellowship are open to students enrolled in accredited two-year, four-year, or vocational programs across the U.S., with a deadline of September 21, 2026.
