Europe got its own TBPN-style live show, and everyone’s angling for a guest spot

The European Technology Network (ETN), launched by Luke Knight and Ronan Chambers in London, is expanding its tech livestream from two days to a five-day-a-week schedule starting July 27, 2026. Originally beginning with a two-day format focused on breaking down tech trends and news, ETN has grown significantly, attracting over 5 million views across platforms like X and YouTube. This expansion is backed by a $1.6 million seed funding round led by investors such as Powerhouse Capital, Axel Springer SE, and notable angels from OpenAI and DeepMind, enabling ETN to scale up its operations with a move to a larger studio in Kings Cross and a growing team.

ETN has rapidly become a key destination for European startups on press tours, hosting influential guests like Synthesia’s founder, the CFO of Legora, and Rishi Sunak, former UK Prime Minister and Anthropic advisor. The show aims to keep pace with Europe’s fast-moving tech ecosystem, which has seen London startups raise $14.7 billion in 2026 alone. The founders emphasize the necessity of a platform that matches the speed of deals and innovation happening across the continent, noting the pressure to accommodate a growing number of guest pitches and interviews.

The newly adopted five-day format maintains the core structure of the live show—a three-hour session dissecting trending tech stories followed by two hours of interviews, debates, and potentially roundtables or pitching segments. ETN plans to support richer discussions around AI, venture capital, and technological breakthroughs, serving as a vibrant stage for European tech voices. Revenue comes from advertising, with key sponsors including Polymarket, Base, and ElevenLabs, reflecting the show’s growing appeal within the tech and investment communities.

Knight and Chambers openly credit TBPN, the U.S.-based tech business talk show recently acquired by OpenAI, as an inspiration for ETN’s model. They view their role as tech insiders rather than traditional journalists and aim to complement existing media outlets. Despite being Europe-focused, they embrace a global audience and encourage startups to build wherever is best while ETN amplifies their stories. The duo hopes ETN fosters a new wave of European entrepreneurial ambition, shifting the cultural narrative from traditional career paths to startup building.
