Chinese tea brand HEYTEA, famed for its “cheese tea” innovation, has partnered with BLACKPINK star LISA to launch a limited-edition drink and merchandise collection. The collaboration was sparked organically after LISA was spotted enjoying a HEYTEA Triple Supreme Matcha Latte in Beverly Hills, a moment that went viral without any prior sponsorship or promotion. In response, HEYTEA rolled out a global Buy-One-Get-One-Free matcha campaign celebrating LISA, underpinning her influence and the brand’s global reach across 3,500 stores in over 330 cities.
LISA’s connection with HEYTEA deepened after she visited their pop-up store in Bangkok last month with family and friends. Now, they are releasing a special Mango Coconut Sticky Rice drink inspired by a classic Thai dessert, reflecting LISA’s roots. This drink features fresh-cut mango, Thai sticky rice, and a coconut milk base, available beginning October 15 at HEYTEA’s stores worldwide, including in major markets like the U.S., China, Thailand, South Korea, Australia, the U.K., and Canada.
Alongside the beverage, HEYTEA will offer exclusive LISA-themed merchandise such as epoxy stickers, collectible pins, and keychains starting October 16. U.S. customers can purchase these items at 48 HEYTEA locations (excluding New York) or via the HEYTEA app, with a combo option to add a sticker plus a pin or keychain for an extra $3.99. In Bangkok, limited-edition scarves, drink cups, and hats exclusive to the collaboration will also be available.
This collaboration signifies a rare brand partnership born from genuine fan enthusiasm rather than traditional corporate negotiations, according to Lu Liu, HEYTEA’s VP of overseas brand management. HEYTEA already has a history of high-profile collaborations with brands such as FENDI, Alexander Wang, and Adidas, while LISA has partnered with several major global brands including Nike and Louis Vuitton. The new Mango Coconut Sticky Rice drink and merchandise drop emphasize HEYTEA’s continued global expansion and cultural connections fueled by influencer-driven marketing.
