Sebastian Fundora, standing at an imposing 6-foot-6, will be defending his WBC super welterweight title against the unbeaten Ermal Hadribeaj on October 17, 2026. The bout will take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on TNT, truTV, and DAZN with no pay-per-view fee, starting at 8 p.m. ET. Fundora, a 28-year-old southpaw from West Palm Beach, Florida, brings a record of 24-1-1 with 16 knockouts into his fourth title defense. His opponent, Hadribeaj, an Albanian-based fighter now residing in Miami, is undefeated at 23-0-1 with 8 knockouts and is notable for having transitioned from professional MMA to boxing, starting his pro boxing career at 25.

The significant height difference between the fighters will be a key storyline, as Hadribeaj gives up more than seven inches to Fundora. Fans have come to expect entertaining and unpredictable bouts from Fundora, whose unique combination of size and aggressive style often leads to exciting fights. For Hadribeaj, a victory would be historic, making him the first Albanian world boxing champion. He earned his mandatory challenger status by defeating Bakary Samake for the WBC Silver title in May 2026, underscoring his rapid ascent in the boxing world despite his late start.

The event card features a notable co-main event where Brandon Figueroa defends his WBA featherweight title against Tomoki Kameda. Additionally, Armando Resendiz steps in on short notice to face Koen Mazoudier in a super middleweight bout, replacing Jermall Charlo with just 10 days to prepare. The undercard will stream on PBC’s YouTube channel, continuing DAZN and TNT’s boxing series “The Fight,” which has delivered several memorable moments since its launch on July 4, 2026.

This matchup highlights an intriguing contrast of styles and physical attributes, promising a compelling spectacle for boxing enthusiasts. The combination of Fundora’s towering height and seasoned experience against Hadribeaj’s unbeaten record and fighting spirit sets the stage for a highly anticipated championship clash in Las Vegas. Fans and analysts alike are eager to see if Fundora can maintain his dominant reign or if Hadribeaj will carve out historical significance with an upset victory.
