LEGO has launched an exclusive collaboration with Grammy-winning pop star Olivia Rodrigo, releasing five new building sets known as the LEGO Editions Olivia Rodrigo Collection. This marks the first time a musician has been honored with dedicated LEGO sets. The collection celebrates Rodrigo’s chart-topping albums "SOUR," "GUTS," and "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love," incorporating themes, songs, and iconic moments from her career through minifigures and detailed designs.
Olivia Rodrigo was deeply involved in the creative process, working alongside LEGO to embed meaningful Easter eggs like handwritten notes, symbolic flowers, and references to her Filipino heritage into the sets. She expressed enthusiasm about fans being able to build and explore elements of her world, from music to personal symbols. The collaboration reflects her love for hidden details, sharing her journey with fans through these interactive kits.
The collection includes five distinct sets with varying complexities and price points. The Vinyl set, a 360-piece album-themed display featuring a minifigure, retails for $34.99. The Concert Moon set, inspired by her viral concert moment, includes 670 pieces and retails for $49.99. The Flower Bouquet set, part of the LEGO Botanicals line and the first personalized botanicals partnership, contains 400 pieces and sells for $49.99. The Secret Storage set with 1,085 pieces showcases items from her tours and retails for $79.99. The largest, Dual Guitar set includes 1,228 pieces, two minifigures, hidden stage details, and costs $119.99.
All five sets were released simultaneously on Saturday across major retailers including LEGO’s website, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. This venture adds a unique dimension to merchandising for Olivia Rodrigo, bridging music and collectibles in a way that invites fans to engage creatively with her art and persona. It also represents a pioneering partnership for LEGO in collaborating directly with a popular music icon.
